Hi, I’m Sara. 🌿
I’ve spent much of my life helping other people become healthier and stronger. I never imagined there would come a time when I would have to learn how to do the same thing for myself.
My journey has taken me through fitness, nursing, critical care, women’s health, advanced practice nursing, and motherhood. I’m a nurse practitioner, registered nurse, longtime fitness and wellness professional, wife, and mom of four daughters.
For years, strength was something I understood through movement, exercise, caring for others, raising my family, and pushing forward.
Then my health changed.
I went from being the healthcare provider and fitness professional to becoming the patient. Living with complex health challenges forced me to slow down, listen to my body differently, and reconsider what being “healthy” and “strong” really means.
And somewhere in that process, Love Life, Live Strong became more than a saying to me.
Why I Created Love Life, Live Strong
I created this space for women in every season of life.
Our bodies change. Our hormones change. Our responsibilities change. Our energy changes. Sometimes life changes so much that we barely recognize the person looking back at us.
But change does not mean our best years are behind us.
I want this to be a place where we can talk honestly about women’s health, hormones, nourishing our bodies, movement, strength, mindset, rest, healthy aging, and learning to love ourselves through the process.
Not perfection.
Not punishment.
Not trying to become the person we were twenty years ago.
Strength for the life we are living now.
Why This Matters to Me
I have four daughters, and they are a huge part of my “why.”
I want them to grow up understanding that their worth is so much greater than a number on a scale or an image in a mirror. I want them to know their bodies deserve nourishment, movement, knowledge, respect, and care.
And I want other women to know that, too.
My professional background gives me one perspective on health. Becoming a patient gave me another.
Both matter here.

Some days may be educational. Some may be practical. And some may simply be a reminder that you are allowed to begin again.
Love Life. Live Strong.
I’m still on my own journey.
I don’t have every answer, and I don’t believe health is about doing everything perfectly.
I believe in learning. Growing. Nourishing ourselves. Moving when we can. Resting when we need to. Finding hope in difficult seasons. Loving the people around us deeply. And continuing to discover what makes life worth living.
Because maybe living strong isn’t about never falling down.
Maybe it’s about continuing to find your way back to yourself.
Love your life. Nourish your body. Find your strength.
Sara 💛
